There are many different types of vacations out there, but a golf vacation in Arizona is one that can best be described as healthy. If golf is your goal and you take advantage of all the area has to offer in terms of fitness and relaxation, you can’t help but have a healthy Arizona vacation. There are a multitude of spas, heath resorts and wellness centers in the Tucson area. Golf is part of the package at many of these resorts. Show Low Days

Show Low Days is coming up this weekend (June 5-7). This is the biggest annual event in Show Low, consisting of a double header of events: the Still Cruizin Car Show and the Arts and Crafts Fair. These events will take place at Show Low City Park, located at the corner of U.S. 60 and state Route 260.

On June 6, you can start the day with the Fly-In Pancake Breakfast at Show Low Regional Airport. Breakfast is $5 for adults, $3 for kids under age 12, and everyone in a military uniform gets a free breakfast.

Another highlight of the weekend is the 12th annual Pow Wow in the Pines at the Hon-Dah Festival Grounds. You can see dancers and drum groups compete for over $33,000 in prize money.

Log Cabin Living in Show Low

Log cabins are popular for vacation homes and year round homes in Show Low. There are several companies, including Mountain Fever Log Homes, which sell pre-cut log cabin packages which can be assembled by do-it-yourselfers or professional builders. Available models go from simple A-frame styles to large custom designs with unique architectural features.
