The Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch offers eighteen holes of championship Arizona golf in the desert area of Queen Creek wash. Located in the southest Phoenix Valley, the course was designed by architect Dick Bailey and covers over 6800 yards. The natural setting of the Trilogy course offers challenges for every level of player, as well as breathtaking views of the San Tan Range and Superstition Mountains. Trilogy is in the midst of a residential golf community developed by Shea Homes.

Golfing at Trilogy is open to the general public at reasonable rates. The nearby Hyatt Place offers first class accommodations for visitors, including Stay & Play package deals.

Apache Sitgreaves National Forest

Show Low is a great place to visit throughout the year. There are year-round recreation activities to be found, along with many points of interest to visit. Just outside of Show Low is the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest, which offers relief from the heat in summer and a snow-covered paradise in winter. Spectacular vistas can be view from the Mogollon Rim. Fishing, camping and hiking are available in the summer, and there are opportunities for skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice fishing in the winter. The World’s Largest Golf Course

What will be the world’s largest golf course is scheduled to open later this year in the Australian Outback. The par-72 course is being built on the Nullarbor Plain and will stretch for 850 miles, with an average of 50 miles between holes. The Nullarbor Plain is sparsely populated and the Australian government is hoping to bring some tourism to the area.

Each of the courses 18 holes will be located near a small town or roadhouse. A synthetic green and tee will mark each hole, with the fairway consisting of the natural terrain. The first tournament on the Nullarbor Links is scheduled for October.

A round of golf is expected to take at least four days and will provde golfers with some stupendous scenery and a truly unique golfing experience.

For visitors to the Show Low area, the Fools Hollow Lake Recreation Area offers 850 acres which includes a lake and sites for recreation vehicles, campers and tents. Located at an elevation of 6300 feet, the recreation area offers all of the beauty of the White Mountains. Show Low Creek feeds into Fools Hollow Lake, providing a natural feeding ground for wildlife and an abundance of fish species. Fishing opportunities are abundant at Fools Hollow Lake. Swimming and boating are also popular activities at the lake.
