When in Phoenix, many Show Low golfers visit the Legacy Golf Resort. Located at the base of South Mountain, the Legacy Golf Resort features an 18-hole championship course which has been named one of the top golf courses in Phoenix by ESPN and Golf Digest. The course has a rich heritage, having once been the 7500 acre ranch of Dwight B. Heard. Outstanding views of Camelback Mountain, Squaw Peak and the Phoenix skyline are combined with lush green fairways that offer a challenge to every golfer. The course was designed by well-known golf course architect Gary Panks.

The Legacy Golf Resort offers a full-service practice facility with private and group instruction and tournament coordination. There’s a fully stocked pro shop which offers golf clothing, accessories and equipment.

Accommodations include studio suites and condos. The Legacy Golf Resort runs regular package deals, so a weekend visit from Show Low or any other location is affordable, especially with a group rate. The Resort also offers in-room spa treatments and family-friendly activities. The build in kitchenettes are especially appealing to golfers with families.
